Status: Active, Study began in 2014, currently in progress.

Tobias is developing technologies and methods for applications of UAV (drones) in conservation.  Much of the focus is currently on monitoring and understanding vegetation regrowth in disturbed boreal forests associated with in situ oil sands legacy footprints (especially seismic lines).
